Because It's Better than Drinking Alone
Post-election blues got you down? Then drag your mopey butt to the House of Shields on Tuesday, and drown your sorrows amongst fellow mourners while taking in the sweet sounds of Ian's Damn Straight Wicked Awesome Jazz Quintet! (This week, the Quintet will once again feature special guest artists from the Unite Here Local 2 hotel workers' union, who will be banging on cans and shouting into bullhorns from across the street.)

Admission is FREE for residents of California, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Admission is $99.95 (no checks please) for residents of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wyoming, although residents of these states are cautioned that they may be subject to exposure to uncomfortable rhythms, harmonies and/or opinions.

Residents of Iowa are advised to bring the cash just in case.
