Daniel Pinkwater, one of the icons of my childhood and beyond, was on Fresh Air this week. It’s a great interview, full of interactions like the following:

Gross: You’ve had, uh, weight issues your whole life.
Pinkwater: I haven’t had weight issues, I’ve had weight.
